शिलांग, 24 जनवरी (भाषा) मेघालय के पूर्व जयंतिया हिल्स जिले में दो बांग्लादेशी घुसपैठियों को गिरफ्तार किया गया है और उनके चार बच्चों को किशोर कल्याण गृह भेजा गया है। अधिकारियों ने शुक्रवार को यह जानकारी दी।


अधिकारियों के अनुसार, महिलाएं और उनके बच्चे बेंगलुरु से लौट रहे थे और अपने घर बांग्लादेश जाने की कोशिश में थे। अंतरराष्ट्रीय सीमा के पास सीमा सुरक्षा बल (बीएसएफ) ने घुसपैठियों को पकड़ लिया।


अधिकारियों ने बताया कि बीएसएफ ने महिलाओं को कानूनी कार्रवाई के लिए जिला पुलिस को सौंप दिया है।


महिलाओं ने जांच के दौरान बताया कि उन्होंने कुछ महीने पहले अवैध रूप से भारत में प्रवेश किया था और बेंगलुरु में घरेलू सहायिका के रूप में काम कर रही थीं।
